PMJT and his popularity is very high. It's over 60% according to the latest figures. And Rona Ambrose is the new Interim leader of the Conservatives. Good choice I think.
It may be a question of why is Trudeau 2 so high in the polls? My opinion is that he appointed 15 women to his Cabinet. He did it so the popularity of the liberals would go through the roof. And here's the result. 60% popularity. 74% approve of the gender based Cabinet. Only 22% against (I'm one of those 22%). Because I think it's nothing more than political grandstanding. It was a political stunt to jump the liberal popularity even higher. Which is all the more why people should be chosen by merit, not because of gender.
It can be said that if I was the PM and I did the same for the Conservatives, would it be right to do the same? Morally and ethically it would be wrong. I wouldn't do it. Justin Trudeau would.
“The Liberals kind of took the New Democrats’ policies — they did the same thing that (Premier Kathleen) Wynne did (last year). They out-New-Democrat the New Democrats, it’s exactly the same playbook.”
The difference is that the Conservatives would be hearing about it in the media. The media party like CTV, Toronto Star etc. would be doing their best to make sure the Conservatives didn't get up to 60% or higher. How awful. Remember again this verse:
"A false balance is an abomination to the Lord." Prov. 11:1
God detests false balances because it was very bad on people who are poor. It is unfair. If someone gets a bigger piece of the cake it's unfair to the other side. And God is there for the poor one who can't get a fair shake. In Deuteronomy it says "For there will always be poor people in the land" Deuteronomy 15:11.
Jesus said, "The poor you will always have, but you will not always have Me." John 12:8
To continue, I have a question about election campaigns and media. I would only hope and pray that people are smart enough to not let the media influence their decision, but my question is,
Is the media able to influence the outcome of an election campaign? Or are people smart enough to not let them influence their decision. I can't honestly answer that. I hope this is a fair outcome. Here is the latest:
