Media Bias

Hi. My column is about media bias and it's exploitation and here's a good example of it. One of these mags has got it wrong. They are both what we call tabloid magazines which people read all the time. The Enquirer has a date which says May 15, 2016. Is that an expiry date? It's only may 10. InTouch says it was murder. Really? who did it? The point should be that the TRUTH matters. And we should not be buying into these magazines. It's not like buying gas at all different gas stations and then telling people to stop buying at Esso. One thing we should remember. We treat God this way and our Prime Minister even if we don't like being liberal. Here's what we know

We all want people to tell us the Truth!

I will tell you the Truth and I want you to tell me the Truth. Because the truth matters. Jesus said "I am the the way, the truth and the life, no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me." John 14:6.
So if the truth is told by God, it must matter. But not to these tabloid magazines.

When it comes to British tabloid magazines it can be the worst of all media, because it has the most power, and most resources to do it. And they use it too. Imagine you're a celebrity and you're being chased by these papparazzi guys trying too catch you with your lover in the car? They had your email, phone number, twitter/ facebook account and had the password to each account. Imagine your passport, your credit card account. These guys have more resources then the police. They open your mail to see who's on your favorites list. They know where you're going and who you're meeting. Talk about up close and personal. If you don't want them chasing you in a high speed chase, don't become a celebrity. Stay below the radar. Imagine the Spice Girls in the 1990's. They were good. What missing and what they don't understand is imagine you're life like this all the time. Princess Diana hated this. But, the more she opposed it, the more they followed her. I hope Kate Middleton is handling this alright. So, if you're a reporter and you have a private life and you wanted to keep it that way, you'd be upset if someone kept following you all the time right. Nothing was private, nothing was hidden. You be upset wouldn't you? Try to remember that some things are private. Some things are personal, some are embarrassing for other people too know. So mind your own business and stay out of my business.

Take care, Allan.
